For decades, this Victorian villa had operated as a hotel, its grand rooms divided into a warren of small en-suites that concealed its original elegance. Beneath the alterations, however, its character endured — waiting to be restored.

Working closely with our clients, we removed intrusive partitions, reopened the plan, and reinstated light, flow, and proportion. Period details were revived and carefully balanced with contemporary interventions, allowing the house to breathe once more.

A bold single-storey extension provides a confident architectural counterpoint to the historic structure. Designed as the social heart of the home, it accommodates a generous kitchen and dining space, alongside a cinema room, gym, and billiards and games room — uniting heritage and modern family living in one cohesive vision.
