CHALET BUNGALOW REMODEL, CHARMOUTH

When the clients first approached us, we immediately recognised the opportunity to transform what was once a modest chalet bungalow into something far more considered and substantial.

Planning permission had already been secured to remove the existing first floor and replace it with a timber-framed structure, creating generous new living space. Building on this foundation, we carefully refined the internal layout — repositioning the staircase, adjusting walls, and reworking door openings to improve flow and ensure the home functioned intuitively for family life.

Lighting and electrical schemes were thoughtfully designed in parallel with bespoke kitchen and bathroom concepts, resulting in a cohesive and carefully resolved interior. It was a genuine pleasure to bring this vision to life — and the finished home reflects both our clients’ aspirations and our collaborative approach.
